We have many classes of membership at Weymouth Golf Club and many subscription levels. The subscriptions are all based on a percentage of the full membership rate, which for 2011/2012 is £580.
New members (those over 18) will have to pay a joining fee equivalent to an annual subscription (£580) as well as the subscription fee.

The Classes of Membership as defined by the Articles are as follows:
A. Honorary & Life Members
B. Full Members
C. Restricted Members
D. Junior and Young Adult Members
E. Country & Temporary Members
F. Social Members
G. Temporary Non-Playing Members
The classes of Membership are further sub-divided as follows. The subscription for each class is stated as a percentage of the FULL MEMBERS B.1 subscription.
A. HONORARY & LIFE MEMBERS - No Subscription
B. FULL MEMBERS - Limited to 700
(excluding Junior & Young Adult but including category Members)
B.1 Ladies and Gents - 100%
B.2 Senior Citizens - Gents
(Aged 65 years or over, and previously a Member for 5 years or more) 85%
B.3 Senior Citizens - Ladies
(Aged 60 years or over, and previously a Member for 5 years or more) 85%
B.4 OVER 80 MEMBERSHIP - open to a playing member who has payed a playing subscription for the past twenty five years, consecutively, and attained the age of eighty years. No further annual subscription.
C. RESTRICTED MEMBERS - Limited to 100
(Restricted to playing between Mondays and Fridays, excluding Public Holidays). Note: Members are no longer accepted into this category and, when numbers have reduced to zero through natural wastage, the category will be closed.
C.1 5 Day Ladies and Gents - 85%
C.2 5 Day Senior Citizen - Gents (Conditions as B.2) - 70%
C.3 5 Day Senior Citizen - Ladies (Conditions as B.3) - 70%
D JUNIOR & YOUNG ADULT MEMBERS
D.1 Juniors (Under 15 Years) - 12.5%
D.2 Juniors (15 to 17 Years) - 25%
D.3 Persons aged 18 to 20 inclusive - 30%
D.4 Persons aged 21 to 23 inclusive - 50%
D.5 Persons aged 24 to 26 inclusive - 75%
Persons seeking to join the Club in categories D.3 to D.5 as a new member, (i.e. not paying a subscription to Weymouth Golf Club at the time of application) are required to pay a Joining Fee equivalent to one year's membership at the Full Playing Member Rate. A member relinquishing membership of any one of these categories to be subject to a Full Membership subscription upon applying to re-join.
E.1 COUNTRY MEMBERS (Bona fide playing members of a golf club, and permanently resident more than 30 miles from Weymouth). Annual subscription £165 per year, valid for up to fifteen rounds of golf in one subscription year. This is to take effect from 1st May 2006 and reviewed annually.
E.2 INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS - open to persons who have no permanent address in the United Kingdom but whose handicap is held at Weymouth Golf Club and valid for up to ten rounds of golf in one subscription year. The Annual Subscription to be £100 from 1st May 2003 and reviewed annually.
E.3 TEMPORARY MEMBERS (Visiting Golfers paying a Daily Green Fee) Fee to be determined by the Management Committee.
E.4 TEMPORARY MEMBERS (Bona fide playing members of a golf club, visiting or temporarily resident within 30 miles of Weymouth) Three month or Six month Extended Green Fee only. Available at rates to be determined by the Management Committee.
F.1 SOCIAL MEMBERS. - £25.00 Subscription
(A Gold Discount Card must be purchsed and £20 put on to it on joining)
F.2 TEMPORARY SOCIAL MEMBERS. Fee to be determined by the Management Committee annually.
G.1 TEMPORARY NON-PLAYING MEMBERS. Fee to be determined by the Management Committee annually.
